Hard telling really. I took 2 hpts before I started bleeding and they were positive. Then when I was bleeding I took 2 more and they were negative. Haven't gone to the doctor yet. Hello, it is not normal to have bleeding while pregnant, but since it occurs after sex there is a good chance it i from cervical irritation or vulval irritation rather than the pregnancy being affected. I would still recommend that she have a pelvic exam and an ultrasound to make sure everything is in order with the pregnancy, because bleeding may also be a sign she is losing the fetus. but from your description, I don't think that is the case
