It depends on how bad it is. If the bleed is grade 2 or below it is considered minor. Grade 3 or above could indicate brain damage. My son was born almost 3 months early and had a stable Grade 2 brain bleed and today he is a completely healthy, active 3 year-old with no delays at all.
