Why, yes. You could always stab them several times, causing severe pain and blood. Oh, you could also poke their eye out. That always works.

I suppose the carotid might make a good target with the right amount of force.

Pretend you are about to stab a piece of meat on a plate , imagine if that plate was not there and you do not care about the consequences of what happens. Add a bit more force and see what happens. The weakest place is the sides of the neck and the eyes
