You most certainly can. Screen doors are the first point of access to your home and is always touched. Most people also look through them, bringing their face in near contact. If the screen door is painted with a lead based paint, you may be inadvertently ingesting and absorbing lead. However, it's rare to hear of painted screen doors, it may happen. Lead Paint is no longer manufactured but there are still cans out there.

Lead paint is easy to detect by it's appearance when it chips. Look for tiny little flakes, paint chips in larger sections, and there may appear to be dust on the paint. If the paint begins to chip or is old, the dust and chips can be ingested or inhaled. This is dangerous.

You should replace the screen door. Proper disposal is required. You can be cited with improperal disposal of hazardous waste. Very, very, costly.
