I have been pregnant 5 times now. Every single time I have started to feel nauseous and thrown up 5 days past ovulation (9 days before my period was due to start) and the nausea has continued for over a week before I got a positive pregnancy test. My breasts also start to feel very tender and I get food aversions.
Its interesting however because as my pregnancy progresses I generally have very little nausea or vomiting, just in those first days right after conception.
Could be but it also could be PMS. Have any other symptoms? Headache, backache, cramps, retaining water or swelling, breasts hurt? These are ALL PMS symptoms and I got them every month before my period. You can help yourself by cutting out the junk food and sodas, do a bit of yoga, and get some Mitol.
Home pregnancy tests are designed to be used AFTER your missed period. Using it 2 weeks before a missed period could skew the results.
Every woman is different, for me I found out 6 days before my missed period using first response. Before that I thought I was getting the flu and was nauseous 24/7...I knew something was up. Good luck!
no it can't tell you if you missed your period for 8 weeks
well, think of when she missed her first period....then count back 2 weeks and there you go. this is the case since ovulation typically occurs 12-16 days after your last cycle. and then about 2 weeks after that you have your period. so just take when you missed your period and count two weeks before whatever the first day your missed period could have started....
Possibly. Assuming you conceived just after your last period, and it's been two weeks. But really, such tests are hardly worth doing until you've had the first indicator, which is the missed period.
CAUSE YOU SICK
Depends on timing. If your period finished a day ago, you have a whole month to find out, but if it's been three weeks since you had your period, you'll notice the absence before the symptoms. 
There is a high chance you probably are pregnant. Best chance is to get a test done.
If you were having symptoms 3 weeks before your period was due you were not pregnant because you get pregnant 2 weeks before a period. Being 1 day late is neither here nor there. If your breasts are sore and itchy and you are nauseous that could be many different things. I suggest you see a doctor.
Stress often causes this. Has happened to me before --6 weeks is notnecessarily a reason to freak out and whatnot . I would say If you miss two or more periods consult a doctor.
3-5 weeks after intercourse. It can be detected 7 days after intercourse with a blood test.AnswerActually, a home pregnancy test would be able to pick up a positive 2-3 weeks after intercourse, or up to 5 days before a missed period, or 4 days before you expect your period to arrive. Most women, however, will not receive a positive until after they have missed their period.
You should take a pregnancy test shortly after your missed period. That is when a home pregnancy test is most effective. Although I have heard you can do a blood test at the doctor as soon as 2 weeks before your missed period.
