You can indeed (I had to check with the manufacturer when I first started taking them.) The issue is that the absorption is unaffected by cutting them in half (which is good), but the active ingredient may not be quite evenly dispersed within the tablet. i.e one half may contain 55% of the active ingredient and the other half 45%.

But if you're having the other half on the second day running, over 2 days your are receiving the correct dosage. (For most people, the active ingredient not being evenly dispersed throughout the tablet is not an issue).

Yes, you can. The absorption is exactly the same when it's cut in half (it doesn't speed up or anything).
