Yes. It is illegal to take and/or have on you. It happened to me I spent 3 nights in a holding cel for it. I was pulled over with a friend right after I had taken 2 pills and the effects were starting to kick in. I was acting normal but the car was searched for "suspicious activity" they found the other pills we had a few my friend hadn't taken and the rest were for other people that I was picking up for them. They then turned their attention on me and concluded that I was on it. We were both taken in and spent 3 nights in a holding cell until I was bailed out. I was charged with intent to distribute and sell narcotics. It was a really bad experience..
