Upon seeing an eye specialist who treated me for severe iritis, I was referred to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me with spondylitis. A blood test for HLA-B27 followed, which was positive. Perhaps it is related, but I do suffer from shingles when stressed and have some hair loss on my legs. It seems the immune disorder causing the Arthritis affects the intestines as well, as I experience bloating frequently after eating - less since I changed my diet to Gluten Free. Homeopathic Rhus Tox seems to offer some relief.
