Yes.
And taking high dosages causes seizures, brain damage, and death.
Short answer; Yes. Benedryl or namely Diphenhydramine(the chemical name) can give you a feeling of euphoria. It is not safe to take in large amounts and should not be used in this manner. but if you are going to BE VERY CAREFUL! 25-50 mgs is the normal dose. if you take more than that you could go into respiratory or cardiac arrest. (your heart stops beating, or you stop breathing). Diphenhydramine is commonly used as a sleep aid and it will make you VERY drowsy. so even if you do feel a little 'high' you will likely fall asleep and not even remember it. DO NOT EVER, EVER EXCEED 100 MG'S!!! you could die.
Its a weird high... not very enjoyable or recreational unless youre trying to escape life for a good 6 hours. At doses of 300mg + you will begin to hallucinate, but not like shrooms or acid. The things you see are real, such as people or objects, and it is near to impossible to distinguish hallucinations from real life. Youll spend a lot of the times talking to people who aren't there or scared of something or someone that looks like its going to hurt you. Using with marijuana increases effects. In my experience, i was really frusturated about people not talking back to me and not being able to pick anything up(because the things weren't actually there.) It is a crazy experience.
You will have very mild visual hallucinations, like things slightly squashing and stretching. You'll see faint shadows that aren't really there. You'll feel perfectly sober though, it'll feel a bit strange. I did this last night and saw the room swaying as though it were a pirate ship. I woke up and my eyes were numb, on my way to work it appeared I wasnt getting any closer to the mountains I was approaching. The road was like a treadmill. But when I got close to the mountains they popped out at me. I'm still experiencing these effects. You won't get 'high' but you will feel out of it.
diphenhydramine, also known as benedryl or unisom, can get one "high" at higher doses. it can make ppl hallucinate. however, i hear that tolerance can build rather quickly. a typical therapeutic dose is 25-50 mgs. however some ppl can get high at doses as low as 75 to 100mgs. some ppl require higher than that to get "high" but I dont think it is good for the kidneys or liver.
Generally, Benedryl is safe for dog's to consume. Make sure you use the proper dose which is about 1mg per pound. For my beagle, I use Children's Benedryl and she gets 25mg because she weighs 25 pounds. Always check with a veterinarian before administering medication to ensure that there is not an underlying illness causing the sneezing such as a food allergy or even an obstruction in the nose.
Difenhidramina is benedryl. It is an antihistamine.
Yes, Benedryl (Diphenhydramine HCL) is excreted mainly though urine. However, some of it is also excreted though feces.
CAn you take Benedryl and Coreg
Usually Benadryl helps stop rashes/swelling that's what is mostly used for. But it may also make you very tired or very jittery. Hope this helped! ;)
Drug/Drug interaction answer: Tussionex Pennkinetic contains a narcotic cough suppressant as well as an antihistamine, both of which can cause drowsiness. However, there is no drug/drug interaction warning about taking Benedryl with it. Benedryl (diphenhydramine) is also an antihistamine and causes drowsiness, so you can take both, but use caution and don't do anything that needs real concentration such as driving.
can benedryl allergy be taken while taken phenazopyridine.
Can u take Benedryl with high blood pressure
Yes, my doctor told me I could take benedryl which is the same as diphenhydramine with my Wellbutrin. Even tylonol PM which has benedryl in it, the only thing is Wellbutrin dries your sinuses and so does diphenhydramine, that makes for a major headache.
You can wash it off with ice cold water and then put on a baking soda paste to relieve the itching. If you have many bites, take a dose of benedryl to stop the reaction. Other people use white vinegar on the bite or benedryl cream.
My dog often has allergic reactions, especially when she has to have her annual vaccines. Our vet specified 1 milligram per pound, so for a 7lb dog, you'd want a third of a typical 25mg Benedryl tablet, or perhaps you could find a liquid or children's variety that has a different dosage. Just make sure it is ONLY benedryl (diphenhydramine) and no other 'cold/flu' ingredients are in it.
Take some benedryl and put hydrocortisone cream on the rash/hives.
