I'm assuming you mean loperamide, also sold as Immodium, for diarrhea. Yes, the pediatric dose for kids 2-5 years old is 1 mg after loose stools up to 3 times daily. The pills intended for adults have 2 mg. You can either break them in half and then crush them or buy the pediatric liquid.

If the child is having a high fever, blood in the stool, significant abdominal pain, is not fully alert, or is not drinking enough fluid to keep a moist mouth and make some urine then you should call your doctor.
