  1. I had a "near drowning" experience in a swimming pool when I was a kid... I remember drowning and being scared and then swallowing a load of water, after a while I realized I wasn't gonna make it to the surface and accepted I was gonna die and then I became really calm and felt euphoric but I can't remember anything else after that.. I'm alive so I survived somehow but I just can't remember how...

What type of illness causes dry drowning?

"What type of illness can cause dry drowning" The recent injury of a near-drowning event is an illness which requires recovery time. In the interim a compromised breathing system should be closely monitored and support provided when needed. Those who go about their business instead of seeking medical attention should be further warned or be further careful not to become exposed to substances which cause "respiratory inhibition". Respiratory inhibitions' cumulative effects with the near-drowing compromised system could be fatal. Respiratory inhibition is a common side effect of sedative hypnotics such as alchohol, solvents, inhalents, and prescription-med-sedatives.
