The reason why sneezes smell bad is because the amount of bacteria and old saliva that was in your mouth sprays into the air as a fine mist or droplet spray when you sneeze.

People then would be able to smell your sneeze by breathing in your saliva which causes the smell of pollen and was in the air when you sneezed.

I think it has to do with your sense of smell. I think sneezes smell HORRIBLE and exactully like honey, and thats why I hate honey. Everyone smells differently just as everyone sees colors differently. Its nothing to worry about.

Maybe pollen is shooting out of your nose when you sneeze, because you inhaled it.
