Well there are a few ways actually. Firstly you could use a shotgun, loaded obviously and just let them take it to the head. Secondly you could overdose them with sleep potion till they drop down and motionless. There are many other ways that you can imagine and try out for yourself :)

Most elderly adults should aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night. However, individual sleep needs can vary, so it's important to pay attention to how rested the person feels during the day to determine if they are getting enough sleep. How many hours sleep does a 50 year old need?

The adult human body only needs 4 hours of continuous sleep to fully rejuvenate ... A child need much more as much as 8 - 10 hours of sleep .. All people differ, some require more sleep than others. There is no set minimum or maximum. The human body is largely self regulating in this respect. When you are tired you sleep more. I have added a link supporting my previous answer that 7-8 hours is the accepted norm for the 'average' adult.

Why do you need 8 hours of sleep?

You need sleep because the longer you stay up, the less you will be able to concentrate. And if you go to bed late then you are likely to oversleep in the morning and you wont be able to concentrate. You need to know what your sleep time is because your doing it for your own health. When they say beauty sleep they are true because if you dont sleep then you get rings and bags underneath your eyes and that can make your face look a bit worrying to others. Sleep loss can affect the mood that you are in. However not everyone has the same sleep requirements. Some need more than others. 8 hours is considered an average.
