The number 1 state that tornadoes mostly occur in is Texas. second is Oklahoma and third is Kansas

Tornadoes, especially very strong ones, have been known to do incredible things such as spearing a hose through a tree trunk, embedding all four legs of a chair in a wall, and carrying buildings while leaving them intact.

Winds in one tornado were recorded at just over 300 mph (480 km/h).

Some tornadoes contain smaller suction vorticies, almost like mini tornadoes, that can have winds up to 100 mph (160 km/h) faster than he main vortex.
