Forensic scientists don't make money. That is the job of the National mint.

It also depends on where you live, if you live in the city, especially where there is a lot of crime, you will make more. A Masters Degree is the best degree to have in this field if you want top $

Yes, good scientist who come up with many inventions that help the world will and/or may be rich
Forensic scientists use a lot of computer technology, microscopes, and they draw what they see a lot. They also use kits for discovering finger prints, ultra violet lights or blacklights to see unknown substances on a scene (semen, saliva, blood)
Some universities offer Forensic Science as a major. Since forensic science involves a lot of biological techniques, Biology, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry are some possibilities. Just remember that picking the major is just the start of it - you need to make sure you get the right courses to prepare you. You'll need courses in population biology, biochemstry, molecular biology, genetics, and statistics.

A LOT OF MONEY.
A lot of money <3
It depends on what you do in the field. Some famous researchers make a lot of money and would qualify as "wealthy". However, an average forensic psychologist (not psychiatrist) makes around 75,000 - 125,000 a year - at least in the state of California.

Yes! Of course a forensic scientist has benefits! Number one, they get paid a lot. Number two, they are the hero of an innocent person who is being accused. Other than that I'm not sure but i bet there's a lot more.
If you work for the Federal Government, a Forensic Scientist can make anywhere from 50,000 to 120,000 per year depending on your education. Someone with a Masters Degree will be paid on the higher end. If you want to work in a Lab, you will make a lot of money.Starting salary is about $40,000 per year ($20 per hour). With 5-10 years of experience one can approach 100K, but don't count on it. I work with people that have spent 15 years in the field and are only making $50K per year. It's not worth it unless you really love the job. I wish I would have stayed in school for a PhD and became a Principal Investigator at a university.
There are a lot of science fields and each one pays differently depending on the locations and region. If you have a specific science field in mind (chemist, biologist, forensic scientist, research, teacher, etc...), you can check a salary online.
There pay depends on how high up there position is ranging from £20,000 a year to £60,000
