In the area where the fire was, there was a table with an array of pitchers, all containing different potions. There was also a scroll, on which, there was a set of clues as to which pitcher contained the potion which would allow one to walk through the black fire (the correct one), which one would allow one to walk back to the previous room, which was merely an alcoholic drink, and which were poison.
Hermione deduced the correct pitcher using said clues, then gave it to Harry. He proceeded through the black fire.

Harry Potter was able to walk through the black fire in The Sorcerer's Stone because he drank a bottle of liquid that allowed him to be unaffected by the black fire.
Sirius Black.
In the 4th book ( Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) Harry does the second task in the black lake
Sirius Black appeared in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Harry Potter movies (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
Nifflers are black, with brown around their snouts and paws, I think...
There isn't actually a fire that Harry and Ginny run through. This is an added scene that the producers decided to put in. There is also one other major scene in the film. I believe that this is of Harry, Tonks and Lupin discussing Draco Malfoy in the Burrow at Christmas.
