Well it has a long story.
On the last page of the original novel, the author stated how this title came into his mind.
He has been working on the manuscript, and when he submitted to his editor. His editor asked:Have you thought of a title yet?
The author was like:Hm no,not yet...
Then COINCIDENTALLY at the time, someone(it may be his editor but I don't remember much of that) flipped a bundle of papers and it was making the noise:Dyurarara----
So the author was like:Yeah!DYURARARA!What a Good idea!I might make another series with the title as weird as Baccano so it might catch the readers.
And at the end,he mentioned that the title 's meanings varies between the readers,it's your own perspective.(Some might think that it might sound like a motorcycle)
But how this title originated was completely---RANDOM.
So it went somehow like that...And it was from the postscript of Vol3(or 4?Since I don't remember well)...

yes
Mikado Ryugamine
they call it durarara because it is supposed to be the sound of a person reving a motorcycle. This is because celty sturluson has a motorcycle. I founf out about this in the manga it says it somewhere but you have to look close at the sound effects, i think it shows this when mikado runs into celty on the first day in Ikebokuro.
