Why did Jon venables and Robert Thompson murder James Bulger?

i belive that the boys had bad upbringings that may have made 2 young boys do this.Robert Thomson was picking several children and before taking jamie almost took another child outside the shoping mall and pushed them in front of moving vehicles.then they spotted jamie alone and snatched him whilst his mother paid for somthing in a shop.where they then took him 3 miles away and beat the poor child to death and placed him on a train track.Robert Thomson was said to show no remorse what so ever in police custody.Jon vennables is said to have spent evenings at home wathing 18 rated movies and drew pictures of people being killed with knifes.two young children that age thinking of doing such things to a little child tells me that somthing was not right

We are not sure why Thompson and venables decided to kill a child. However we assume that the only reason they chose him was because he was the only one there.

We have no idea of what their motive was for killing him, who knows why they did ? Was it because they were raised badly, were they just trying to have some fun or show of their dominance and power or was it because of their innate human evil.
