JCVD offered Seagal out at Silvester Stallone's in 1997 after he became sick of Seagal running his fat mouth saying how he could beat Van Damme. Seagal backed down from the challenge and left. Van Damme then tracked Seagal down at a night club and offered him out again. Seagal turned down the challenge again.

My thought is that Bruce would have his butt handed to him. Jet Li has been mastering Wushu from the age of 10. Bruce started when he was 13. I look at it this way, Bruce is awsome, but master of the old styles. Jet has mastered the old and the new. What I am saying is that Bruce Lee is the Ford Model-T, and Jet Li is the Ford F-150. The later is better because it was built on the foundation of the old, then improved by (technology). I still think that it would be an awesome fight, that would probably go on for hours. In the end there can be only one and it would be Jet Li. Bruce would destroy Jet, hands down. The form of Wushu that Li practices is the sport variety, little more than flashy moves when compared to Bruce's Wing Chun, a style designed to end a fight quickly. After Bruce developed Jeet Kune Do he essentially became untouchable. Here's how the fight would go: (1) Jet would come in with some flashy move (2) Bruce would either trap him or stop kick him depending on the move (3) catching Jet off-guard Bruce would move in and end it with his lightning speed that he was legendary for.
