Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus Batiatus was executed after the battle of Pharsalus having taken sides with Pompey against Julius Caesar. This is not surprising since Pompey is credited with the destruction of the slave rebellion of which Batiatus' former slave/gladiator, Spartacus, was the leader.
Because he was believed to have killed Cornelius Dobbler, & was hanged without trial by a bunch of town vigilantes.
The minister for magic in the first five books/films was Cornelius Fudge he did not die but his replacement Rufus Scrimgeour was killed because Voldemort wanted control of the ministry. Before he died he was questioned on the whereabouts of Harry but refused to reveal it.

Spartacus did. In circa 73bc, he led 74 of his "brothers" (fellow Gladiators, and slaves) in a revolt/escape from the House of Batiatus. Using kitchen knives, and any other weapon they could find, they attacked, broke into the Ludus' weapon stores, and killed everyone they could on their way out. This included Batiatus.
We have no way of determining whether or not Don Cornelius killed himself due to cancer.

Yes Don Cornelius was gay. My father told me.! Plus you can see it if you have ever watched Soul Train. Plus he's dead now so it doesn't matter. He killed himself so he is unfortunately going to hell anyways, regardless of rather he was homosexual or not (which if he was he would be sadly be going to the same place)
Rufus Scrimgeour, who is killed when Voldemort makes his grab for power in Deathly Hallows.
Note: Contains spoilers Nova died when Taylor activated the nuclear bomb underground. It presumably killed everyone on the planet, except for Zira and Cornelius - which we learn about in subsequent sequel.

Cinna the conspirator and Cinna the poet are different people! Cinna the conspirator was named Lucius Cornelius Cinna. He was conspirator against Caesar, who plays a key role in enlisting Brutus to their cause. Cinna the poet was named Gaius Helvius Cinna, an influential poet of the time who was killed after Julius Caesar's death. Many plebeians, in their rage after joining Antony, killed him because, though he claimed he wasn't Cinna the conspirator, he shared the name.

The crowd likely killed Cinna the poet during the Roman civil war because they mistook him for another man with the same name who had sided with Julius Caesar's assassins. The crowd was fueled by anger and confusion, leading to the tragic mistake.
