Gil Rosenthal (Gilbert A, Rosenthal, FAIA) s an American architect who specializes in the redevelopment of post-industrial neighborhoods, brown fields, water front sites and inner city public housing, to recreate new sustainable mixed income communities. He is a principal in the firm Wallace Roberts & Todd in Philadelphia, with 6 regional offices around the country. His best work includes Watefrtont Square on the Delawar River,a development of 1,000 condominiums on a brownfield site; the Tom Ridge Environmental Education Center in Erie, PA; The Atlantic City Convention Center, sited on a former coal gasification plant, and the public housing revitalization plans for Baltimore and Hagerstown, Maryland; Seattle, Jacksonville, and Savannah; Mobile, Huntsville and Birmingham, Alabama. Many have received large grants and awards from HUD.

He was born in 1952 and hold degrees in architecture from both Corell and Harvard. He teaches at Temple University, Drexel Univesity and the University of Pennsylvania. He is married to the Reverend Judith Sullivan, associate rector of Redeemer Bryn Mawr.
