Good question - that guy is H-O-T, hot! Would be curious to know if he's done anything else - other commercials, tv shows, film work. Wouldn't mind seeing him on the big screen.

Hey, I remember way back when, Matt Lauer was the guy doing promo's on HBO in between movies. If he can get started that way, this guy can certainly go places too.

He is definitely Joe Avellar, former NBC morning news man. Occasional in studio man, usually the street reporter.
