Michael Moore is a controversial film-maker, who has directed a number of documentaries. Critics claim his films are biased and nothing more than liberal Propaganda. Supporters claim his films are courageous explorations of problems that our politicians are refusing to solve. He is best known for his documentaries "Bowling for Columbine," "Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Sicko."

He's AMERICAN. "Jewish" does not denote a nationality; it could be called an ethnicity (but not really because there are Jews of all ethnicities, although a long, long, long time ago I suppose all Jews were of the same ethnicity, but there were others of that ethnicity that were not Jews . . . see below) but more properly it is a religious belief rife with traditions. The story is that if your mother is Jewish you are Jewish so that sort of contradicts the "religious belief" idea (tying it more closely to ethnicity) but people can convert to Judaism . . . which makes it PURELY a religious belief. By the way: being in favor of the policies of Israel does not make you pro-Jewish, nor does being in opposition make you anti-Jewish (not anti-Semitic, as it is mistakenly called . . . as there are many Semitic peoples who are not Jews). However, if opposing the actions or policies of the State of Isreal makes one anti-Jewish . . . so be it; it will force the zealous supporters of Israel to assume responsibility for ALL Israeli policies, including those which are inhumane.
