you either get a ditto and partner it with a Pokemon you want to breed in the daycare in Solaceon Town, (the cowboy place), or you get two Pokemon of the same kind and you put them together in the daycare. do keep in mind that you are only allowed to enter two Pokemon in the daycare, and the man or woman that owns it will give you the egg. you will also need to walk a variety of steps to hatch your egg, but the number of steps will always be above one thousand.
