you can get them by either filling all your pokedex in emerald and talk to professor birch and then migrating them or AR.
I have two of the starters from Kano, charizard and blastoise
It depends on what games you have available. If you also have both Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire available, then you can try to complete the Hoenn pokedex. If you complete the Hoenn pokedex in Pokemon Emerald, Professer Birch will give you one of the Kanto starters as a reward. Or, if you have Pokemon Colosseum, you could complete the game, trade one of the evolved forms of the starters into Emerald, and breed it with a Pokemon in the same egg group to get one of the starters. A third possibility is to defeat 100 trainers at Mt Battle in Pokemon Colosseum XD and trade it in to Emerald. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The guy above me is COMPLETELY wrong. There's only ONE WAY to get Kanto starters in Emerald, that is to obviously trade the starters over from LeafGreen and or FireRed. That's the only possible way without cheating. Prof. Birch does NOT give you Kanto starters after completing the Hoenn Pokedex he actually gives you the JOHTO starters (Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil) when you complete the Pokedex. But you hafta catch ALL 200 Hoenn Pokemon in order to obtain them. When you do this, Prof. Birch will call you on your Pokenav and tell you he has a surprise for you in his Lab. There you can choose one of the Johto starters.
You can't get it when you start the game. You have ti have a link and right after you start the game, you can trade the Jhoto starter to your Kanto game.
cindaquil must be migrated from emerald version... in emerald, once you catch all the pokemon, the professor offers you one of three pokemon... you may pick from the johto starters (cindaquil, chikorita, and totodile)
you get them by catching all 200 Pokemon
Technically, yes you can get all the Johto starters... mainly one from the Emerald versions if you have completed 202 entries of the Hoenn dex, Birch will give you a "surprise" and you can choose one of the Johto starters. But that's one way to get them, though that'd take quite some time to achieve that... But to get the other two, you might have to trade with your pals or from Colosseum/Gale of Darkness.
The only 2 ways to get johto starters is to see all Pokemon in emerald, and beat mt.battle in Pokemon XD and then send them to ur gameboy adv.
you can get them by either filling all your pokedex in emerald and talk to professor birch and then migrating them or AR.

Yes you have to trade because you can't get all the Pokemon alone.
If you mean "how can I get Johto Pokemon into Pokemon Emerald", then you can do that by either catching them in-game (as far as I remember) after completing the main Pokedex. The three Johto starters can be obtained once you complete (catch) all Pokemon in the regional Pokedex. You can also transfer their second (or third-) stage evolutions from Pokemon Colosseum via GameBoy Advance-Nintendo GameCube link cable. You need to finish the story in Colosseum for this to work, however. If you mean "how can I transfer Pokemon from HeartGold/SoulSilver/Gold/Silver/Crystal to Emerald", put simply, you can't. Sorry.
I have two of the starters from Kano, charizard and blastoise
"You have to have Pokemon colosseum and a gba/cube link cord then you trade the starters to one of the gba games (ruby sapphire emerald leaf green or fire red) then you migrate!"AnswerMigrate the johto starters from emerald to Pokemon diamond or pearl card. Answeryou can also get the johto starters from FireRed by seeing all 150 Kanto Pokemon then go to professer oak he will give you a totodile, cyndaqill or chickorita. Then migrate them to diamond or pearl. remember you have to have at least 6 Pokemon in your PC so be careful.
All 3 Unova and Johto starters can be found in Pokémon Sun & Moon!
No, but if you catch all the sinnoh pokemon; Prof. Rowan will offer you one of the three Johto starters.
no only johto and kanto but you can get the 3 hoenn starters
