Little Ricky named his dog Fred which he got after the family moved to a country home in Connecticut in 1957 The OP is both correct and incorrect.... The dogs name IS Fred - as LittleRicky always "names [his] pets after the people [he] loves". And the episode (#165 :: "Little Ricky Gets a Dog") did air in 1957. *BUT* he did not get him after they moved to their country home. We know this because, if you remember, there was an issue with the lease on their apartment (which said "no pets!). Although Fred/Ethel had been lenient and overlooked all the other pets Little Ricky had acquired (turtles, fish, a frog, & birds).... a grumpy new tenant makes keeping the noisy new puppy, a big problem. After Fred orders them to get rid of the puppy, Lucy tries to hide him... but is eventually discovered. In the end, Fred decides he'd "rather live with a little dog, than a big grouch!" Interesting fact.. This episode takes place only a few episodes before they move to the country, and is the first in which Lucy mentions moving out there.

That depends on where you live. In the US, the Age of Majority (the age at which a minor becomes legally responsible for his/her actions) varies from state to state. Try Googling Age of Majority and looking up your state. You can also contact your state government for that information.
The actors, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez, who played Lucy and Desi Ricardo were husband and wife in real life. When their real life marriage broke up, it was much too difficult to for them to work together. They not only played their roles on screen but both worked behind the scenes in executive positions; by that time they had created Desilu Studios, producer of many TV programs of the time. It was a very big strain to go on screen as if nothing was wrong.
During the filming of I Love Lucy, she lived in Hollywood. She was born in Cherryvale, Kansas. Her family moved to Independence, Kansas when Viv was six. Eventually she moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to find work as an actress, which earned her then money to go to New York, to study under Eva Le Gallienne. In 1947, Vance decided to move to California to pursue other theatre projects as well as opportunities in film. In 1951, 42-year-old Vance was given the role of "Ethel Mertz" on the new television program "I Love Lucy", which debuted October 15, 1951, on CBS, and was filmed at Desilu Studios in Hollywood, CA. In 1959, Viv ended she divorced her third husband. In 1961, she married again for the fourth and final time, and moved to Stamford, Connecticut. In 1962, she began work on a different show, "The Lucy Show", but the pressures of long-distance commuting didn't suit her, so after three years she limited her herself to guest appearances. In 1974, she and her husband moved to Belvedere, CA (just north of Francisco Bay) so she could be near her sister. Five years later she died there, of cancer.
