The result was Al (Alphonse Elric), Ed's (Edward Elric) little brother lost his entire body. While Ed himself lost one of his leg. In an attempt to save his little brother Al, Ed tried to bond Al's soul on a piece of armor. Ed had to lose his arm because of that. Al was left with no body, his soul was attached to the piece of armour, and Ed was fitted with an automail arm and leg by Winry and Pinako Rockbell.
Ed does bring his mom back to like but it failed. later on in the story his mom turns out to have been a human-like homunculus with all her insides on the outsides, and dante feeds her red stones to make her a more human (sloth in original episodes).
Eds mother never came back. In neither of the series or movies. There is one character in Fullmetal Alchemist who looked and sounded like their mother and who was named Juliet Douglas. All she turned out to be was a homunculus named Sloth.
If you mean new episodes as in continuation of the first Fullmetal Alchemist series, then the answer is, no, they are not. But a new series titled Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was released, the difference is mainly on the plot. This whole new series is similar to the still unfinished manga plot line.
Although it is never specifically mentioned that Al has a girlfriend, there is one particular girl that is "paired" with him. Her name is Mei Chan, a Xingese girl and an heiress. Originally, she was crushing on Edward, but her hopes were dashed when she met him. However, she began to fall in love with Al, imagining his beautiful body that he was trying to get back. Nothing is done concerning the two, although we know that they were still friends in the series epilogue.
You mean FullMetal Alchemist? Well for the first series, Ed gets stuck in the real world with Al trying to find him again, though in the COS movie Al goes to the real world with him permanently. Unfortunately, Ed didn't get his body back though Al did. In Brotherhood Al gives up his life to get Ed's arm back, and Ed, in a rage, attacks Father until he eventually kills him, and then gives up alchemy to restore Al back to life. Ed did not get his leg back but he got his right arm back, and Al got his body back/
Hi! Fullmetal alchemist has a sequel but it is not fma brotherhood.......uniquely done there is a film called "Fullmetal alchemist and the conqueror of shamballa im not gonna spoil it for you but that is the the sequel to the first/original series.........on the other hand fma brotherhood follows the manga the reason they did brotherhood was not to improve the original its because the manga was not in time with the first show meaning the 1st series was made up as it went along rather than the manga....brotherhood follows the manga they have a movie for brotherhood released this year its no sequel just a movie that can be placed anywhere in the first 30 episodes of the brotherhood series meaning they made a movie i think to kind of show off the new cast put not neccessarly following the manga! Fullmetal alchemist is now done unless future release The first series has 51 episodes the secound has 62....there were also ovas released for both series there basically side storys......there miniture/chibi versions of the original characters lol! :)

There is a civil war between the current homunculi Fuhrer and the forces of Edward Elric who is trying to destroy Father and the homunculi.
They were trying to convert lead into gold, and to create the philosopher's stone.
It depends on whether you're talking about FMA or FMA brotherhood. However, in both instances the show starts after her death. However, there are flashbacks relating to her death in the first two episodes of the first series and near the end of the series when Edward confronts Sloth, the homunculus he and Al created when trying to bring their mother back to life. In the second series, their mother's death is mentioned but flashbacks relating to her are scarse. In one of the middle episodes (around 25-ish, if I remember correctly) Honenheim visits Pinako and learns about his wife's death. There is a brief flashback there. There is also a flashback around episode 53 when Ed meets Honenheim in a hobo village near central.
What are you trying to ask here? Do you mean that a mother took a pregnancy test on behalf of a daughter so as to give a fake result? What are you trying to find out?
An Alchemist was an ancient type of scientise, they are most well known for trying to turn lead into gold
