As the youngest captain in Soul Society, being the same age as Ichigo is rather pushing it, yet there are some people who believe that he possibly can be that age. He is around the height of Ichigo's sisters too, and if one looks at height charts, he is at the very lowest precentile for a twelve year old. His age range is between ten to thirteen, and as it gets higher up, the less likely he is that age, but the same can be said as the age range goes lower.

The other problem lies in the fact that, in order to know how older Toshiro is, one also has to know how old he was when he died, because the older he was when he died, the lower the number is naturally going to be. We do know that his age is at least forty years, as he was in the Bleach plotline, so a good estimate of his age would be beetween forty to one-hundred and thirty years old.

Something to note, just because the manga has been going on for many years now, the timeline in Bleach has only advanced three to six months, so he is still the age that he was, as he hasn't hit his birthday yet in the Manga.

Well In the Soul Society he is 13-14, But in the Human Realm he is about 110 - 130 Years of age.

In the world of the living Toshiros 1 year older than Karin so that makes him 13.

But if you multiply this by ten you get his acual age 130.:) (hes an old man)

And in S.S(Soul Society) He is 14 years old.

Theres a difference You always multiply a soul reapers age by 10 like this person said above ^ when in the human world.^-^

He doesn't die. When the trailer of Bleach The Movie 2- The Diamond Dust Rebellion came out it highlighted the head captain's decree to execute Toshiro. When it aired, the creators in-box and mailbox were flooded with letters and Emails begging him not to kill off Toshiro. He's become the number 1 favored character in Bleach. If they ever killed him they'd have to resurrect him due to fan complaint.
