When Percy's math teacher revealed herself to be the Fury Alecto and attacked Percy, Grover told Percy everything about Camp Half-blood. Percy's mom, who knew all about Percy's real father, drove Grover and Percy to Camp Half-blood. When they get there, a Minotaur attacks Percy who runs for his life and finds Camp Half-blood. Percy's Mother, being entirely mortal (as opposed to Percy's demigod status) cannot enter the camp so the Minotaur sends her to the underworld. Percy kills the Minotaur with the Minotaur's horn and is safe. He carries an injured Grover to the threshold of the camp, passes out, and wakes up in Camp Half- Blood
