He smoked Marlboro red but after trying one or 10 of my natural American spirit (blue pack), he would switch back and forth. My brand is 100% pure tobacco leaf and does not cause cancer. Heath was addicted to the over 4,000 chemicals in Marlboro (and all brands but mine). That is why he never stopped the Marlboro. Heath may have said he quit, but when he was with me he chain smoked (as I do).
It is a wonderful thing, to see how happy he still makes people, but.....do not get too caught up in any ones life so that you forget to live your own. In other words, smoke what you like, not what your hero liked (unless you happen to renjoy the same brand).
