The similarities between the movie and book adaptations of Percy Jackson include the central characters, storyline, and basic premise of a young demigod navigating the world of Greek mythology. Both versions feature Percy Jackson as the protagonist, embarking on quests and facing challenges alongside his friends. While there are similarities in the overarching plot, the movie adaptation deviates significantly from the source material in terms of character development, key plot points, and the overall tone of the story.

It's pretty much the same storyline and a few of the minnor/major aspects. I didn't like it though because at the same time it was nothing like the book. They added things from the rest of the series and kept the idea of book one but tweaked the story from that of the book. As the directors would call them, it's all just "small things that don't effect the story too much". Great special effects though.
They both include Percy's mother being kidnapped, capture the flag, the pearls were in the book but they weren't they entire plot line, they were a paragraph, Yancy Academy and the museum, Camp Half-Blood, the Minotaur, there are more but those are a few.
Well it depends in Percy Jackson the 1st one they had most of the characters except Ares and Clarisse. They only mentioned the blonde hair of Annabeth and Clarisse in the 2nd one.
In the Odessey, Odysseus goes to the underworld, goes to Calypso's island, goes to the island of the cyclops, fights the Scylla and the Charybdis, and Percy Jackson did all those things.
The only Percy Jackson book to have been made into a movie so far is The Lightning Thief. It is out on DVD.
There is no book 6 in The Percy Jackson series.
The 5th book, Percy Jackson and the last Olympian is the longest book, I think
In the book, his real name is Percy Jackson. In the movie, he is played by Logan Lerman.
The fifth book is out but i doubt there will be another movie. The movie sucked
