i guess in the first book...........Artemis fowl n the fairies have a conflict............
in the second book..........Artemis and holly short goes against the Russian mafiya and there is a fight between some fairies and goblins.......
in the third book...................Artemis with holly get back the c cube from Jon spiro.........
in the fourth book..........they stop opal koboi from taking over the fairy world...........
in the fifth book.............they save the demons from hybras and stop minerva paradizo..
in the sixth book.............they travel back in time to save Artemis' mother and a romance grows between the two allies............
the companion book talks about the characters and fairies in detail...............
There are many problems but for Artemis's gang and the Lep.
For Artemis he takes sleeping pills and therefore changes his state of entry and get out of the time zone. The Lower Elements Police then used the bio-bomb to try eliminate him but they do not succed. That is how Artemis is still alive until book2
