Went up to the sky
Walt Disney went bankrupt when the rights to his very first character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, were stolen by his manager. Shortly thereafter, Walt was able to create many feature length films and attractions which helped him to accumulate the money that was last and much more.
The only one I can think of would be Dungeon's and Dragons from the early 80's.
By Bambi, he"s a male, I assume you mean the Deer saga by Felix Salten, adapted to cartoon movie form by none other than Walt Disney. I never thought of Bambi as a girl"s cartoon. A Girl"s cartoon with a feminine lead character is somewhat rare in move-cartoon form- best example I can think of is Anastasia, which is riddled with errors ( Stacy was l7 when the Big Raid went off, not a child) and too much occult content. Little Mermaid could be factored in as a Girl"s cartoon, lead character is of course a female, Ariel.
The Peanuts Comic strip went into syndication on October 2, 1950.

He is not banned anywhere. The story went that since Pat (like most cartoon characters) has only three fingers to go with each thumb, he was somehow linked to the Triad gangs.Postman Pat is shown on the Disney Channel in Japan.
Teacher's Pet
mary had a little lamb, a little lamb, a little lamb. mary had a little lamb, its fleece was white as snow. And everywhere that mary went, mary went, mary went. And everywhere that mary went, the lamb was sure to go. It followed her to school one day, to school one day, to school one day, It followed her to school one day and that was against the rules. It made the children laugh and play, laugh and play, laugh and play, It made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school.
The quotation "He went that a-way" was said by Bugs Bunny in an old Loony Tune cartoon. It was when a monster was after him, Bugs told him that "he went that a-way".
