• The first being when he was in the house at the start where the body is, he bumps into the table. Another near to that scene is when he is pushing the buttons on his iPod.
• Further on are his fighting. If you notice he doesnt look at the people he is fighting when in-combat. He uses a technique that someone would use if they were blind.
• Further on, he says faith leads him not by sight, etc etc. Quotes like this hint at it. Then when he tells Solara to stop when he hears the bird and shoots it down.
• When they go to the cannibals home, he apologies to the guy saying he didnt see the sign.
• Then there is The Bible written in Braille.
• At the end it shows his eyes, which appear to be the eyes of someone who is blind.
• There are also other hints when he ask Solara the questions about his mothers blinds.
• At the beginning, he searches the burnt out car looking for shoes, however he doesn't look, he feels down the skeletons legs until he gets to the feet and finds no shoes.

That is a metaphor saying that he is blind, but was led the right way by god,
