In the first book, Leodroptha Curtain is creating a disaster of a world by planting strange messages in peoples minds that go undetected by the person through electronics. He will eventually give the soulution to his self- created disaster then giving himself power, and ending up controlling the world. The main characters must stop him and disable his machine, called the whisperer, and save the united states. In the second book, Mr. Curtain is trying to obtain a legendary substance called duskwort, which may hold the cure to his life-long disese, Narcolepsy. In doing this he captures the MBS's leader, Mr. Benedict, and his assistant, Number 2. In the final book, he trys to capture his whisperer back and gain the nessasary information to get it working in which he can continue his project begun in the 1st book, and, in order to obtain the info from Mr. Benedict, kidnapps the main characters. At the end of the last book, he is taken to a high secuirty jail for his crimes.
