Was just watching "The Godfather" and noticed for a second one of the actors reminded me of Vin Diesel. It was a smirk that did it, which Vin is known to do, looked just like him, and also the sound of his voice at that same moment. Totally made me think about it for a second like "Wait is that Vin Diesel? LOL it can't be of course!".

And no, the actor in question was not James Caan who is of course also in the film. It was merely a coincidence that someone else guessed at James on this post. It was Al Lettieri. Looking at Al's bio online, he is from New York which matches with Vin and his mother. There is little to no info out there on his marriage which seems a little, ah, you know, shaky. And he passed away of a heart attack in 1975 which would have been when Vin was about 7 maybe. He would have been like 38 and Vin's mother would have been about 25 but it happens. All things considered, it kind of makes sense to me.
