Is the black butler anime appropriate for 9 year olds?

I think that depends on the level the 9 year old is at, and if they are able to handle it's content. Personally, at 9 I would have been all right with it, but some 9 year olds may not be.

It does have graphic violence, some sexual situations, and some harsh language. Not to mention dark and morbid topics. So, it's really up to the 9 year old's parents to review and decide.

Probably not; it's relatively violent. A woman gets her eye gouged out (though it is not explicitly shown) and people get run through with chainsaws. There are also some sexual references, like when Sebastian has sex with a nun. It's not shown explicitly either, but it's clear what's gioing on.

No. First off, why is your nine year old watching this? It’s made for mature audiences. I’m an 11 year old and overall it has full of sexual themes, and so much more- I would rather let them watch Dragon Ball Z. not black Butler.

Yes. It has a good story, but there are some scenes where inappropriate things happen, but it doesn't really show the parts, so It's fine.

As a 9 year my Old myself I say it is up to their level as for me I have watched things that have a lot of stuff in it so I can handle it
