Is John Hillerman married and does he have children?

Many years ago, I saw an interview of John Hillerman on television. At that time, he was living in the Southern California mountainous town of Arrowhead with his wife. He gave a tour of his house, but the piece mainly focused on his love of electronic gadgets. The one that springs to mind was a television set in his master bedroom that ascended and descended via remote.

This was just prior to or just after the ending of the series of "Magnum P.I." on which Hillerman was a regular.

There was no mention of children (that I recall).

internet reports state that Hillerman, a lifelong smoker, became so disenchanted with California's anti-smoking regulations, that he (and presumably his wife) moved back to Texas.
