In the Movie Pinocchio, the 1940's Disney Version, the boys are turned into Donkey's and sold for the Coachman to profit. After being tricked into thinking that they had an all expenses paid vacation to Pleasure Island, many little bad and mischievous boys indulge in their misguided acts, on an Island built for sin. Smoking cigars, breaking things, playing pool and countless other acts keep them busy all night. However, the island that they have been enjoying so much, is actually the cause of their donkey transformations. The "Island Curse" slowly turns each adolescent into a literal jackass. Once the boy has completely been transformed, they are loaded into cargo boxes that are sent off to various circuses, or mining destinations. The boys who have been transformed never return home, and finally see the consequences of their wrongful doings.

Bad Boys in Gangsta Land!!Its Bad Woman cos she went out with someone else. While on Pleasure Island, Pinocchio and the other boys turn into donkeys
Pinocchio never turns into a wooden boy. He is a wooden puppet, carved by Geppetto. In the end, when he finally proves his selflessness, courage and strength, he turns into a real boy, and his dream of being human comes true.
There are no scary parts, really. Some are a little scary, such as when the boys turn into donkeys, or Pinocchio is almost eaten by a giant who thought he was a fish, or when one of his classmates is hit with a schoolbook and they think he's dead. These are somewhat scary, but not very.
