hahaha! did u make it faint? no hard feelings. i did 2!!! but no! if u made it faint BEFORE the pokemon league, after u beat it, it will appear again. same with raiku. and zapdos, moltres, and articuno, IF you go back and beat them all over again just for fun. unless u mean u only MEET it once. no. it will wander all over johto.

When Articuno faints, you lost your only chance to get it. Articuno is a legendary Pokemon, and can only be battled once. If you saved beforehand, you can shut the game off and turn it back on to re-battle it. Otherwise, you can no longer get an Articuno. If you flee or cause a stationary pokemon (such as the legendary birds in the game) then you can reappear by defeating the Elite Four again. This can be done multiple times as long as you keep defeating the Elite. For roaming Pokemon (such as Entei and Latias), if you defeat them you can go up to the person who first told you of them (Steven for Latias) in the location youfirst talked to them and they'll reappear. Seafoam Island is an optional cave that players can go inside to capture various pokemon that are only available in this cave. One very important pokemon that is in the island is Articuno which is one of the legendary bird pokemon! To reach Articuno you will need the move Strength which you will use to move boulders down onto the water below until the waters current stops enough so that you can use Surf. Use Surf and you should be able to reach Articuno. Remember to save before attempting to capture it otherwise you will never see it again.
Easy catch on Articuno on Pokemon FireRed?
Buy about 50 Ultra Balls. Get a Pokemon with a Sleep-inducing move such as Sleep Powder or Sing. If you have a Pokemon under level 50 with Electric or Fire-type moves, that will also work well in lowering Articuno's HP. Once the HP is down to red or a small amount of yellow, put Articuno asleep and chuck Ultra Balls like crazy. If it wakes up, put it back to sleep again. Eventually you'll catch it.
I am almost done soulsilver but I knocked out Articuno Zapdos and moltres I really want Articuno and Zapdos does this mean I have to start ALL over?
just battle the elite four again and then they will be back :-)
