Forbes has just released their new list of the richest dead celebrities. Elvis Presley is listed at the top of the list with earnings of approximately $49 Million. He was 2nd on the list in 2006.
Forbes Magazine has just published their list of Top-Earning Dead Celebrities and Elvis is once again king. He was briefly dethroned last year by Kurt Cobain. This year Cobain is not in the top 13.
John Lennon is second on the list with earnings around the $44 Million mark and Charles Schultz is third with earnings of approximately $35. Others in the top 13 include George Harrison, Andy Warhol and James Dean.
The income of these celebrities stems from music royalties, DVDs, licensing deals, etc.
