All of the princesses are white except Jasmine (Arabian), Tiana (African/Caribbean American) and Sofia (Biracial/ Latina and White). And all of the Disney princesses except Sofia are based on the fables from Grimm's Fairy Tales. Mulan and Pocahontas on the other hand, were based on the lives of two real women. The Chinese Warrior Hua Mulan,Wei or Zhu (Mulan) and The Native American Matoaka or Amonute (Native Americans do not use last names and Pocahontas was her nickname.) She married John Rolfe in real life.
