You have to go into the rooms on both sides of the main room and move some things in them and use the switch, then come out to the main room and make it to the main switch at the top on the far end behind the Octopuss. That makes the the thing hanging over it move to the top and then you shoot the chains on either side to have it come crashing down.
pull the leaver on the sun platform and then it shows you a black leaver swing across to it and before you pull it shoot the chain where it is already snapped
