How do you get the rainbow worm in Neopets?

It is in the cave that is right to the petpetorium it will appear purple but in your inventory it will be black because you really wouldn't see a black worm in-front of a black cave entrance would you. :)

To get a glow worm you go to Moltara and if you see a glowing worm click on it and you should get it in your inventory. But first you have to get the lantern from lampwycks lights fantastic so you can catch them . There are ten worms in all, and once you have all ten and the lamp, you can go into dark cave.

The rainbow worm can be found in the Moltara City under the door that take you to the Caves. You will have to refresh until it appears.
