How do you get Pichu in Pokemon FireRed?

Hiya! I'll tell you how to get Pichu in Fire Red. First of all, you cannot really catch Pichu, but you can hatch one from an egg. First, make sure you have to Rainbow Pass, to all Sevii Islands. Have these two Pokemon handy with you: Pikachu, and Ditto. Go to Island Four, and talk to the Day Care Couple. Go inside, and talk to the Day Care Lady. Give her your Pikachu, and Ditto. Go walk around a lot, or even beat the Elite Four again! Then, after walking around a bunch, and doing activities, go back to Island Four, and talk to the Day Care Lady. If the couple has an egg, then she'll say, "My husband was looking for you". If not, then she won't say that. Then, go talk to her husband outside, and he will say that they both found an egg in the sanctuary, and they didn't know how it got there, and your two Pokemon had it! Note: Have at least one space to put the egg in, and take it from the Day Care Man. Walk around a lot, and you can check the egg's Bio, and see whether it is going to hatch soon. This Bio means it's going to take some time: What will hatch from this? It'll take some time. This Bio means it's going to hatch soon: It's making sounds. It's almost ready to hatch! After your egg hatches, a Pichu will come out of it, at Level 5! I don't know if Pichu evolves into Pikachu, but if you want it to stay as a Pichu, then give it an Everstone. Below is how you get earlier evolutions of breeding different Pokemon:

Jynx+Ditto= Smoochum

Magmar (can be found in Mt. Ember in Leaf Green)+Ditto= Magby

Electabuzz (can be found in Power Plant)+Ditto= Elekid

Hitmochan (i think)+ Ditto= Tyrogue

Hitmonlee (i think)+Ditto= Hitmontop... and of course....

Pikachu+Ditto= Pichu

You get it by breeding a girl Pikachu or Raichu from the Safari Zone with a boy electric type at the daycare center. Hope I helped! :)
I think the only way to get a pichu on Pokemon emerald is if you breed to Pikachu's (one male one female) by putting them in the Day Care or by putting a ditto and pikachu in the day care. After you receive the egg hatch it and u should have a pichu.

Previous answer is incorrect as you can also catch them in Granite Cave 1: You just go to safari zone and find a girl pikachu catch it.

2: get a Pokemon in its egg-group (e.g. snorunt) or simply another Pikachu.

3: go to the breeding center and put them both in the breeding center.

4: go back in a little bit talk to the guy that is out of the fence he will give you egg! breed to picachu's or a picachu and ditto in the day care. http://www.psypokes.com/ gives you instructions on breeding etc.

You can't. Pokemon yellow was produced before the release of the 2nd generation of pokemon, so Pichu would not have been included in yellow, red OR blue. You also cannot trade a Pichu from a 2nd generation game (Gold, Silver, or Crystal) onto a 1st (Red, Yellow, or Blue) because of this. I think maybe you meant Raichu, Pikachu's evolution, rather than Pichu, his pre-volution. If this is the case, there are 2 options: 1) trade a Pikachu from a copy of Pokemon Red or Blue onto your copy of Pokemon Yellow and evolve it with a Thunderstone (you can buy one from the department store in Celadon City) 2) Trade your 'sidekick' Pikachu (i.e. the one that walks behind you all the time) onto a copy of Pokemon Red, Blue, Silver, Gold or Crystal. Then you can evolve it with a thunderstone, then trade it back to your copy of Pokemon Yellow. PLEASE NOTE!! If you choose option 2, your Pikachu (now a Raichu) will no longer follow you around and you will no longer be able to check its moods, etc.

You can trade it from another game to this game, fire red, so it appears in your pack and on your pokedex.

Improved Answer;You have two options actually, that is after beating the elite four at least once and having the Rainbow Pass from Celio..You can easily breed any faerie egg group Pokemon with a female Raichu at Island Four by leaving two Pokemon at that daycare with the old man and his wife. Travel around then come back and the man should be standing in front of the fence and will offer you your egg! With steps of walking and carrying it along, it will hatch. Good luck!

A quick way to get lists of the faerie egg group, search on Google, or just use a ditto xP.

You can't find Pichu in Pokémon FireRed. If you want it on FireRed, you'll have to breed it or find it in another game and then trade. You can find Pichu on route 34 in Crystal, in Trophy Garden in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and in Ilex Forest in HeartGold/SoulSilver.
You can breed a Pichu with Pikachu. You can find a Pikachu at the Power Plant and in Viridian Forest. If you also want to use a Ditto: you can find Ditto at routes 13, 14 and 15 and in Cerulean Cave. Pichu can evolve into Pikachu when its happiness is high enough. To make sure it doesn't evolve, you can give it an Everstone.
