How do you get Mewtwo in HeartGold?

Beat the Pokemon league with at least 60 Pokemon caught in your pokedex. You'll get the national dex. Go to one island, then mt. ember. As soon as you enter Mt. Ember, you'll see two rocket grunts, beat them, and go in the cave they made. At the end of the cave, there will be a ruby. Give the ruby to Celio. Go to six island. At the end of the ruin valley, you'll see a silver wall with braille, that needs CUT. Go in the cave, and ther'll be more braille. I don't quite know what the order is, but once you reach the bottom, you'll find a sapphire, which is taken by a scientist. Go to five island, and then the rocket warehouse. When you beat everybody and get to the end, he'll give you the sapphire. Give it to Celio. Now you can get Mewtwo at the Cerulean Cave, and trade with people from Sapphire and Ruby!

to get mewtwo, u must have done the following:

1. Beat the elite 4

2. get the national dex from professor oak (must have caught 60 Pokemon in order to get it)

(then u get the ruby and sapphire for celio)

How to get....

Ruby: to get the ruby, u have to get the national dex first then go to celio on 1 island. talk to him and he'll ask u to

get a ruby for him. the ruby is in mt. ember where moltres is. when u get to the top (not where moltres is) go to the

right and u will see 2 rocket grunts. battle them and go inside the cave. once u get in u just have to go find it.

look on YouTube if u can't find it. (u will need a Pokemon who knows strength)

Sapphire: to get the sapphire, u will need to go to the dotted hole on 6 island and use cut on the door. once u get inside,

follow the following directions:

up

left

right

down

and u will end up at the gem. when u get closer to it, a scientist will come and steal it from u.

now u will have to go to the rocket warehouse on 5 island. u will have to get through the maze and find the scientist who

stole the sapphire. when u beat him, he will give u the sapphire. then go back to 1 island and give the sapphire to celio.

Mewtwo:

Go back to Cerulean City and go up onto the nugget bridge and surf down to Cerulean Cave and find mewtwo.

Once you

a) Beat the Pokemon league

b) Complete the quest given by Bill

You can capture Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave Basement, Cerulean Cave will open once you have defeated the Elite 4. It is recommended to use either a Master Ball or Ultra Ball to capture it as well as inflicting a status condition to increase your capture chance.

you have to get the ruby and the Sapphire then give them to celio and go to the crulean cave ( you have to beat the Pokemon league first )

Hi! I will tell you how to catch Mewtwo, and please trust me, because I would never ever lie. First, check these things off your list that you have to accomplish before catching Mewtwo: 1) You have to have only beaten the Elite Four once. Many other people say you have to beat the Elite Four 12 times or so, but only once. Note: The first time is easy to beat them. I would bring Articuno or even the starter you chose.

2) You probably have completed this already, but just to make sure you have: You have to beat the Gym Leader, Blaine on Cinnabar Island, and Bill will talk to you; he will take you to an Island called 1 Island, and he will introduce you to his friend Celio. Bill, before you leave the building where his friend is, will ask you to bring a Meteorite to this Game Keeper guy on 2 Island. Look on YouTube for more information. After you have done that, the Game Keeper guy will tell you about his little girl, Lostelle, who wasn't around, and you have to go find her in the Berry Forest on Three Island, after you fight some Bikers, blocking your way. After you find Lostelle, you will have to make a Hypno faint in Berry Forest, but I just ran.

3) You have to find the Sapphire and Ruby for Celio's PC for the Hoenn region. After that, the guy at Cerulean City, blocking Cerulean Cave, will be gone, and that is where Mewtwo is in there. Look up on YouTube for more information on how to catch Mewtwo. You will have to solve how to get through the cave to find Mewtwo. Once you find him, save as always, in case you make him faint. I caught him with an Ultra Ball, so you should try to as well. If you need more help, look up how to catch him on YouTube!

First you need to complete the game then go to the water gym then go to cave which is north west there shall be lodes of passages you will see how on youtube hoped this his helped and he is lv 70 so be carefull :]

You must go to the cave in Cerulean City (after beating the elite four), and Mewtwo is at the end of the cave. The cave is otherwise blocked by a man until you defeat the elite four.

Mewtwo is found at the basement level

There is the Truth. You have to have all Gym badges from Kanto Region and Johto. As soon as you have all the badges go onto you tube and type in how to find MewTwo. When you get to him he is at Level 70 and is hard to catch even when he's at 1 hp left so you wanna use a master ball if you can but if not go to websites or keep trying with ultra balls. Defeat all the Gym leaders in the Kanto Region and go to the Cerulean Cave.
First you have to get all 16 bagdes.The best thing to use is lvl.72 or 73 lugia. you might need 15 max repels and a escape rope.The mewtwo is in the cerulean cave off of the sea.

After you have earned all the Kanto Badges, go to Cerulean cave. Deep in Cerulean Cave, you will find him in there. He is lvl 70 so be ready!
when you get all 16 badges (johto, kanto) go through mt. moon in kanto and once you are through, don't jump of the ledge. go the other way and surf to the cave there.a guy will ask you how many badges you have and he will let you through.

its a difficult cave to go through. at the end there is a ladder, go down it and Mewtwo will be waiting.get strong Pokemon that knows false swipe and ALOT of ultra balls or a master ball (if your lucky, he will give with a cave ball or whatever its called). he is going to be level 70, FYI.
