well in pokemon games your pokemon can't exactly get lost. Otherwise if you use hack to make your pokemon get lost in platinum i'm 100 percent sure that you can't lose your pokemon in pokemon platinum!:)
if you're talking about bonsly, you need to see him in the ship and then when he runs away put poke' snacks in the poke' spots until he comes. "NOTE" walk very slowly. GOOD LUCK!
