How do you expand the village in the Smurfs' Village?

First hit the hammer/mallet in the bottom right corner then in the bottom left corner there is a move symbol. The you tap on and object and tap where you want to move it. Or you can rotate or delete the object by hitting the X. When you are done in the bottom right there is a done button.

Answer 2

- Send 2 Smurfs into the forest for 12 hours

- Send 2 Smurfs into the forest for 24 hours

- Send 5 Smurfs for 5 hours to find Dreamy Smurf

- Send Dreamy on an adventure for 24 hours

- Play Miner Smurf's Mini Game (to get metal for the compass)

- Send 3 Smurfs into the forest for 24 hours to gather magnetic rock

- Send Dreamy Smurf on an adventure for 72 hours

- Send Dreamy Smurf on an adventure for the third time for 72 hours

- Smurf to the island

Over time, after advancing many levels, you eventually build a bridge that allows you to go across the right river. Many levels after that, you are requested to build another bridge on the left river, expanding your village even more! Also, if you obtain or buy enough smurf-berries, you can buy a 30% expansion to the bottom of your village.

During the course of the game, Papa Smurf will give quests which will unlock other parts of the main village with lower levels needing to be expanded before the next is available.

Crossing the right river (Level 5): Papa Smurf will ask for a bridge to be built across the river to the right of the starting area. This bridge can be bought from the Structures menu for 150 coins and takes 12 hours to build.

Crossing the left river (Level 16): Papa Smurf will ask for a long bridge to be built to cross the river to the left of the starting area. This bridge can be built from the Structures menu 1000 coins or 10 Smurfberries and takes 120 hours to build.

Ascending the cliff to the right (Level 22): a set of stairs can be built to ascend the cliff and make the area beyond it available. These stairs cost 5000 coins from the Structures menu and take 2 hours to build.

Clearing the fallen tree (Level 26): a fallen tree will block part of the land to the far right. Once Timber Smurf's Hut has been upgraded, a quest will open up which will clear this area.

At any point during the game, extra space can be unlocked for smurfberries
