She could have most likely Died because she and her family was killed on Halloween due to a murderer. And lied to Gumball and Darwin about Darwin not being scary anymore, because if it wasn't scary to her anymore then why is she so obsessed with Halloween related things like the dark arts? She acts like Halloween is her least favorite holiday. But she uses the dark arts to always remember NOT trust a living soul on Halloween again. Also, she also stays away from people slot. That's because she was and still is traumatized from the fact she died and has to stay in the planet for the rest of her life just because she died early. And she couldn't be born a ghost because ghost can't give birth. I know you might say: But Mr. Guy, In the episode (the Shippining), gumball married Carrie and have kids.
