How can you get shiny Eevee in Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness?

In most games there is about a 1 in 1000 chance for regular Pokemon (mareep, etc.)

There is about a 1 in 5000 chance for a shiny eevee, however, so you have to start the game and go through the opening sequence 5000 times of so to get a shiny starting eevee. Good luck, you'll need it!

In Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness, there is a shop that will sell five evolution items that will allow Eevee to evolve into any of its five evolutions, a Water Stone will evolve it into Vaporeon, a Fire Stone will evolve it into Flareon, a Thunderstone will evolve it into Jolteon, the Sun Dust item will evolve it into Espeon and the Moon Dusk item will evolve it into the Pokémon that is called Umbreon.
